Are There Different Size Roosevelt Profiles On Dimes?

I found what seems to be dimes with different size profiles of Roosevelt, Here is an example of a 1974 dime on the left that has a larger profile than the 2007 on right Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/07/2010 04:59 am Each year has it master die with date and mint mark on the post 1990's. So they can vary from year to year or stay the same profile for years in a row. So when comparing coins it is best to check two from the same year to see if there is any difference. It has changed on the dime many times since 1976. I don't know exactly when or how many times, but it would be easy to figure out with a complete dime set. Report this Post to the Staff
