Hey all,

Found this one today: 1982 Cu large date. On the reverse, check out below the "B" in pluribus. Also, in the second photo, below the L and P.

Its not up on coppercoins.com. Any thoughts?

my guess would be .. that either the coin and/or the die bounced after the initial striking ...

Looks like coin contact on the B. If it were a die issue more letters would be affected. With just one, then it's damage. You see notching on one letter on the coin, chances it is also contact marks. Hubbing would make a doubling not a pushing like contact or Machine Doubling would do. Look at the lower loop of the B. The lower edge is thinner than other devices next to it. Just damage.
