actually, the Morgan dollar is worth $21 in EF and that looks to be that grade. but the peace is worth no more than melt(though you might be able to get a few more bucks for it off eBay  ). Edited by Adam_E

With the scratches on them, the price would dip down, but not below melt.

In the Krause catalog the Peace is also worth 21 in VF.

I have always found that there was a small premium in buying bullion silver dollars over two half dollars, 4 quarters, or 10 dimes, in 90% silver. Maybe a buck or two. That is my experience.

Guys, silver passed $24 today. Melt is now up to about $19 alone. You'll be able to get $23 easily. Just be ready to comply with HR 6149 when it passes.

Yes check out http://www. (124) This link is not allowed by the Staff .com/ my guess is its a sellers market right now.... but I could be wrong. If it passes 26 buck a troy ounce I am wrong. It could be good timing to sell if silver dips again (like last time). Having said all that IMOH, I wouldn't sell any silver for about 2-3 years. But that's just me and I could be wrong. You'll have to decide on selling yourself, don't let my rambling persuade you. |
