I just received a 2010 Silver Proof Set that I bought for my daughter. The Kennedy half dollar is rotated in the case approximately 150 degrees clockwise (nearly upside down). Is this considered any type of "mint error" or is it better to just return it to exchange for another set.

Is the coin just rotated in the case or is the reverse rotated ?
90 to 180 degree die axis rotation on a coin is collectible.

if the whole coin is just turned (rotated) in the case meaning the Obverse and Reverse of the coin is turned then it is just a packaging error and has no value, you can keep it, send it back or take the case apart and turn it around yourself. If the Obverse or Reverse is straight and the other side is rotated then its a mint error and not a packaging error
