I can't tell if it has been cleaned or not, but I do know it is a beautiful looking Indian cent.  AU-58..

Well, it definitely has that "luster shining through the crust" effect. It may have a very old cleaning/dipping at worst, but not enough to bother me. Nice one!

I think it may have been cleaned at some point, but for the price I paid, it doesn't bother me. The quality of the strike is enough to easily overcome that IMO.

AU-50 for this really nice IHC for just a touch of wear on the obverse headdress feathers.

I go a bit higher, probably AU-55. Net would be about AU-50 for a slightly weak strike on the feather tips, normal for the date. Nice.

AU55 for a very nice looking older Indian. Hope I look that good at 150. Wear shows on the tips of the feathers and the diamonds on the headress. Does not appear to have been altered - maybe cleaned some time ago. Nothing to really hurt the coin. Woohoo!

I do see that the feather tips are not well defined, but it could be ware, but also a weak strike that is common of this type of IHC.
