Are These Some Old Indian Coins? - Coin Community Forum

husain27 New Member India 3 Posts	Posted 10/17/2010 11:43 am hey guys I got these old coins from my grandfather but I dont know where they are from or how old they are.. except the error 5 rupee indian one.. is the error 5 rupee worth anything? any help would be appreciated.. thanks in advance Report this Post to the Staff

maudry Pillar of the Community Luxembourg 588 Posts	Posted 10/17/2010 4:25 pm These coins look like they could be from some Indian Princely States. The 5 Rupees coin is absolutely worth collecting. I have seen several modern off center Indian coins, but this one is one of the most extreme ones. If you wanted to sell it, I think you should get around 100.00$ but I would recommend to keep it.
