Picked Up A Few Proof Sets From My Brother-In-Law Today..

andrewjs18 Valued Member United States 63 Posts	Posted 10/18/2010 01:53 am picked up the following proof sets: 1963 proof..paid $16 for it 1973 proof..paid $9 for it also got 2 Americana series sets..not really proof sets, but they do have coins with silver in them..thinking of breaking them out of the plastics.. got the Vanishing classics for $16 that has: 1945 Walking Liberty 1930 Standing Liberty 1944 Mercury dime 1927 Buffalo nickel (I think it says 1927..the coin is ROUGH) 1943 Steel Penny Presidents Collection for $16 that has: 1964 Kennedy 1964 Washington 1961 Roosevelt 1964 Jefferson 1964 Lincoln any idea what a '43 steel penny is worth? does the '64 penny and nickel have any value? About 25 cents if circulated, a dollar or two in average Uncirculated condition. The 1964 cent and nickel have some nominal value if they are Uncirculated, but only face value if they are used.
