A new commemorative coin is issued since few weeks. Commemorating exposition of the Shroud of Turin. 39 mm diameter 0.925 silver Proof mintage 2,010. The hologram represents face of Christ on Shroud of Turin. Effect is impressive. What do you think ?

Nice coin, but considering what one goes for, I'd just as soon search a box of cornflakes.

Very unusual - but interesting to see holograms on coins.

yes the hologram is great in colors. It is with an achromatic hologram too. If coin is held in an angle of 60° degrees the hologram appears with no color for better effect.

a very nice coin! really is beautiful! I'd like to get one. Just wondering how the shroud of Turin got linked up with a coin from the Cameroon Republic
