I recently purchased a PCGS 20 coin box from ebay. I paid for the item, it was marked as shipped, and I forgot about it until it came in the mail today. When I go my won auctions to find the auction and leave positive feedback, its not there. I did a search for the item number and nothing. It's as if the sale never happened. I'm sure glad that it was an honest seller and I received my item or what could I have done? Umm, excuse me ebay, I bought an item that you have no record of ever existing and would like to make a complaint. lol that would have went over great. Still, I would have liked to have left positive feedback. Has anyone else ever had this issue?

No sale, but I bid .99 on a group of wheats with lots of steels. Next day, gone. No record. Wish I had kept the sellers name.

jnesbitt,if you have the item number, you might call ebay and ask them what happened...I've never heard of that and it really should not happen.

Happens all the time. The seller may have been naru'd or the auction was in violation some how and removed. When that happens, all traces of the listing vaporize.

It's happened to me also. But, like bobby131313 says, with item # you'll be able to find it.

If you put up a listing that is in violation of ebay rules and ebay removes it, it's completely vaporized. It disappears completely from public and "My ebay" view. And yes, it can be done even after the listing is over.

If you paid by paypal go to your account, transaction details and hit the links from there see if anything comes up, also go to your email and try those links. ebay is always sending messages regarding the items you bid and win, not to mention the invoices, receipts and such, Maybe one of those links will take you to the listing. Very weird, I agree.

Ok, I tried the view item link that is attached to the positive feedback I had received from the seller a week ago. All day the link would bring up a "page not found" error. I tried it again about 30 minutes ago and now it takes me to an ebay page that says auctions 90 days or older are not available. The only thing that I can think of that might cause this is the new ebay policy that comes out this week prohibiting multiple listings of the same item. oh well, at least I received my item and this wasn't a problematic auction.

I've won items that are more than 5months old and still haven't left a feedback. Then when I leave feedback for recently won items the old ones come up and ask if I want to leave feedback. If you leave feedback for a recently won item and click "leave more feedback" does any older auctions pop up? Maybe it's stored in that section.
