This week arived about 5 coin sales from ebay, all were safely packaged, nothing fancy but adequate. One purchase had loose coins, will not buy there again.. shows they are in a rush or simply lazy to package right.

I don't ask and preffer recycled package material but getting loose coins is a no no for anyone, my 2 cents j

I agree 100%! I have seen some creative solutions but never just loos in the envelope or whatever. I bought a bunch of USPI Admin 1 Centavos that where in rough shape, but even they where in their own little envelope inside the packaging.

well, everyone here is pretty picky--not that that's a bad thing--but I also have shipped many coins now with this method. granted, these coins were really only of bullion value, but still the buyers gave high marks, etc. without a problem.

With a bunch of coins at least one should take care that they don't jingle in the package, otherwise there may be very curious delivery guy.

Oblakavshtanax, are you related, by any chance, to Oblakabezshtanov?

I agree. No matter what condition the coins, they should at least be kept from rattling/sliding around in the envelope.

Try to remember that not everyone here is an adult collector with fantastically valuable coins. For some YN's, almost any coin is valuable and when they order a coin that you consider just melt or bullion, to some it is the best they can afford. Also, to many starters in this hobby amd not just kids, all coins are valuable and dealers should at least pretend to care.
Every dealer should consider the minor sales of today, a much larger sale for tomorrow. YN's do not stay YN's forever.
