Searched 9 rolls yesterday. Found Hawaii D mint, American Samoa D mint, and USVI D mint for my collection. Only need Texas D and DC D to finish the states and territories.

Went to the bank to get some rolls yesterday, the teller I know at the bank told me that a customer brought in a bunch a quarter rolls last week and he stuffed them with US quarter, enough to make 3 rolls and some change. Usually banks don't take back foreign coins in Canada, but that batch got passed the teller.
Anyhow, I ended up taking them all because I needed some coins to complete my state & territories collection. And anything prior to 1980 is a rare find here in circulation. So a lot of the coins were upgrades or hole fillers.
Oldest coin in the lot .. 1965.
12 Hole fillers, 5 upgrades. (Pre-1999)
20 State & Territories upgrades and different mint marks.
** The same guy also dumped 20 rolls of pennies, and I got them all, will be posting the results in the pennies thread.
Keep on searching !

I've found a lot of silver before but rarely quarters. So I was super excited when I got 7 from a teller tray today.

1000$ bag yielded zilch
Reminded me why I quit quarters for a while. I have some wrappers to use up and needed to search something.

Murellington - I think you are right. the train on silver quarters sailed a long time ago. I only search bag in the hope that someone dumps a roll of silvers.

One box today = one 1964D with a very dirty and tarnished obverse (reverse is fine). Dipping helped it only marginally. Time to introduce it to my pocket pieces, I guess, until it's cleaned up. 2nd straight box with any silver. Also a 2002 British 10 Pence.
