I got 8 rolls of quarters yesterday. Filled a couple of holes in my national park quarter folder. No silver or proofs.

Went through a $1000 bag of quarters from the banks machine and found no silver which is about what I expected. Found 6 2014 ATB's including 2 Arch's which are the first couple I've seen. All 2014's were P mint today. Still looking for second and third issue 2014 D's . Also have a friend who asked me to save the bicentennial quarters for him. Found about 33 of them in the bag.

Went to the bank and bought $500 worth of quarters today. Dunno why, just felt like giving it a shot. The teller said she just had someone bring in $1,100.00 in quarters, and I asked for my $500 from those. In the rolls, I found a 1940, 1954, and a 1964-D. Best part of it all was that several rolls were over-filled by one quarter, so in actuality, this cost me NOTHING. Basically, I got $10.00 in silver for free. Now let's see if my luck will hold out until I go to Vegas in October!

I'm going back tomorrow and hoping they still have some of that $1,100.00 I didn't get. :)

The bank forgot to order my boxes of halves today so I had to settle for a box of quarters I have done 5 boxes and have only found 1 silver. The first roll today I find a 1936. Also in the box was a North Dakota with a rim Cud.

So I usually do halves and dimes. My bank also forgot my halves this week. So I got dimes and quarters. Has anyone kept up with their silver find ratio for quarters. I know they yield very low numbers but still curious. I have a week left on vacation. I'm doing about $500 in dimes a day. Averaging 1 silver every $190. Should I stick with dimes or test the waters on quarters.

I have done only one box of quarters and not one silver out of that box emerged. When I did a box of dimes, there were two silvers in it.
A sample of one really isn't enough to get a good ratio, but my sense is that silver dimes show up more often than silver quarters do.

Wasn't from a roll, but while checking my change form spending some $2s, halves and such earlier, found a filthy 1951. Looks in good shape other than the dirt, which is being loosened now in some vinegar, then will take a distilled water and baking soda bath, followed but a distilled water rinse. Then maybe I will know if it has a mint mark, but everything else looks pretty strong once the crud starts coming off it.

Just for grins, I bought a roll of quarters at the bank this afternoon.
Nothing special. Out of the roll, there were 13 eagle backs and two ATBs.
