Anyone used them? Anyone uses them? I know my American fellas are fond of round capsules but, hey, maybe someone is using them and want to comment on them..

goldrush, do you experience any toning in them? Do you fund them safe? I started to use them just recently and loved the system.

I have been using them for about a year. So far no problems. I don't think I will have any
problems, as far as the holders causing toning. In my opinion if a coin has been exposed
to something that may cause it to tone, before going into a protective holder, that it
would continue to tone no matter what holder you place it in.

I put most of my commemorative dollars into the lighthouse 2X2's then in the lighthouse tray
and case. I think it is a good system to store and display coins.

GoldRush, we have a similar climate with Florida in here. I've recently started using Quadrums and they're very pretty and convenient. I am trusting to them with my most expensive coins and holdered them to a similar tray system (or same brand) of yours. I'll place them to the coolest and less humid room that does not get too much direct sunlight in my house and see if they do good there. I am not much afraid of harmless, light or even toning what I am afraid of the foam (so-called Volara) around the holders will cause uneven or bad toning. If you haven't experienced that with them, then they're all good to go I guess.
A word about Lighthouse 2x2's. I've had some problems with them. :(

i believe that he's saying his problem with them is the foam toning them unevenly.

I had most of my coins in lighthouse 2x2s for almost five years from now. Recently I observed a milky like, misty thin layer in them. Not in all of my coins, but for a reason I do not know, only some affected by it. I am going a large scale replacements with them as once I thought the 2x2s are safe and I now have my worries
and no, I didn't leave them in the sun or a hazardous enviroment
it is just hot in Istanbul but I akwas kept them in a cool place. Don't know why is that happening
now I am moving almost all l have in airtites
do foams really uneven tone the coins in them?
