I think its more mis-cut, than mis printed. lol. Slight distinction I suppose.

Seeing that there are multiple creases in it that would bring the grade down. As far as value... no idea...

Very cool note though!

My first thought was mis-cut too, but then I saw "the reverse side is normally printed..."

If the serial # started with 99, it would be fake. They sell sheets of bills that start woth 99, and prople cut them to make fake errors.

Nice bill might be worth $600 mint condition. With the folds, maybe $150?

Note this appears to be a "major misalignment" with "words showing". Usually means pretty big $$. Might be worth getting certified.

You could get more money for it certified.

I have an identical misprinted one dollar bill, it is a 1995 series but the numbers are way off from this bill, I mean way off not even close.
I would like to know if "back in black" or anyone else has sold such bill or had a good estimate lately?
I got mine from my mother one day when she came home from the bank and said is this bill real(surely coming from the bank)? So of course I said let me give you one we know is real for it just in case.

The 2008 Krause Paper Money Error guide lists this error (Major Faulty Alignment) at $250 in Fine condition, $750 in Extremely Fine condition, and 1500 In Crisp New. Since I have no idea how to grade paper money, that's the most I can tell you. Getting it certified would be a good start, though.

IMHO......VF, the bill is very clean with no stains or dirty, the only hit would be the 3+ major vertical creases

i hope this helps
