Can you describe what you are seeing? This looks normal to me. What about LIBERTY bothers you? Aside from that question, what are you using to obtain your images? These are excellent, high magnification pics that clearly show metal surface structure. Very good job. Please tell us what hardware and software you use.
Rest in Peace

There's something on the upper serif of the B but I can't make out what it is.
Yes, excellent pictures. Nice bubbles on the reverse.

I use a 1-35x scope and a Canon SD980IS set on auto mode it takes photos much better then Macro mode , what I was looking at is the extra thickness in Liberty with the Y
being much less thick then the other letters, it appears to be a bit of doubling maybe I am seeing things lol

I do see that and I think that the Y might be the issue. As opposed to doubling on the other letters, it looks like the Y did not strike up like it should have. Perhaps there was a very slight indent in the planchet before it was struck.

Or, duh (on my part), a mild struck through, a little grease in the Y.

Matt do you regret the scope I recommended? It looks like your having fun with it. Nothing appears doubled from what I see. Maybe a little die movement on the LIBERTY. The 1982 Copper large date all look a little larger than normal, but take a look at another one and you will see it is like that on all of these.
