What do ya'll think about this 20 cent piece as far as grade & value. The spot on the eagles breast is actually a depression that I believe to be a planchet flaw.

It looks like VG-F to me and worth around $125 retail. Nice tone; don't know if the hole affects the value. It would if it is a gouge.

Even though LIBERTY is obliterated this coin looks like a Fine-12. Since the raised letters on these coins wear quickly the "full liberty" requirement for a Fine grade is usually relaxed. Rims are very strong and it seems likely that the reverse spot is a planchet void that has become filled with grime.

Looks like a decent type coin. I'd guess this would go for $100 to $125 retail.
