it also has the bust of- never mind

#10 1957 25 Ptas(silver?) Spain

#4. is either country misidentified or date typoed.

#10. 25 pesetas is Cu-Ni. The real date you can find in the 6-pointed star on the left of the eagle (1958 - 75).

i don't have the coin with me but I read 10 cents on the reverse and the word India of the obverse. there were some other words but I'm not sure what they read.

French Indo-China has "10 cent." on the obverse, but it wasn't minted in 1926, there are '25 and'27 though.

India itself didn't have such denomination, in 1926 they didn't have 10 of anything.

The system in India wasn't decimal until after independence in 1947.

The "10 cents" could be from one of several countries, but not from India. Most British colonial coins name king George V as "King and Emperor of India" on the obverse, even though the coin itself is not from India; that's just the king's titles. The country itself would be named on the reverse. Canada, Ceylon and Straits Settlements all made small silver 10¢ coins in that year; East Africa made a large bronze 10¢ coin with a hole in it.
