you have a lot of nice coins Moe. I am thinking most are going to have Seated coins from the 50's and 70'S

You got a lot of the early coins, have you gotten them from ebay or elsewhere? Maybe you're the guy thats always outbidding me on them!

Quote:have you gotten them from ebay or elsewhere? Probably 50% from ebay, the rest from Harlan J Berk, TECC, NFC and other online sellers. I shop around quite a bit. I like filling holes in my Dansco and would rather upgrade later if I can find a coin type at reasonable price. (That's why some of my coins are VG-F versus EF+ that I would prefer!)

Yeah, I always fail to get the earlier ones; there is more interest in them than the later ones.

I'm late (again) but here's my 1846 half. It's got near AU detail but unfortunately has some funky discoloration that won't come off with acetone. Oh well, they can't all be gems!

Nice one Jaobler! (The way I see it, each day for is for that year AND everything that came before it! No worries!) I also gotta figure out how to get my pictures as big as yours! I REALLY like them that way!

You sure do have a lot of older coins Moe. I was taking some pictures of my Seated coins and noticed, of the ones I have found, mine are all 1853 or newer. I am guessing that when they were melting a lot of silver coins back in the early 1850's that it has left a lot fewer coins of the 1840's. I bet we see a lot more get posted, once we get to 1853.
