I have uploaded some of my raw Morgans into my Image Gallery. If any of you would like to practice Grading OR give me your Grade thoughts on any of these I would certainly appreciate it. For the most part, I only uploaded the Obverse but, can go back and insert the Reverse if necessary.

Yes, I used a single flash. I'm still practicing with Mr. Digital Camera and without using the flash the photos were blurry...practice, practice, practice.

Thanks all and I welcome any comments!

Who me? Hold out? Surely you jest?

I uploaded a pic of the reverse 1887 this morning. Can you tell from my photographic efforts what grade this might be? Why do you think it's "nice"? I thought that it had too many marks and so forth to be a "nice" Morgan. It does have wonderful mint luster. I wonder why this one escaped my Mom's big silver dollar sell off? Would the 87 be worth having it graded and slabbed? So far, all of my Morgans are raw.

Comments, suggestions, slap-stick humor welcome!

Saved everyone some time, here is the coin in question: (photos are better in the Image Gallery)

DEB,
All Morgans are nice.,but yours still has good luster. Its to bad about the marks, there are a number of them.I believe its a MS60 coin. The marks keep it from going higher.1887-P's are not a low mintage coin, with 20,290,000 being produced. So the value at MS64 being $65 and MS65 at $170. Its still a very nice Morgan thou.

OK! That's about what I was thinking. The marks aren't visible to the naked eye but, close-up made them evident...bummer! Thanks Terry!
