Is this a replacement note with a 9 S serial number or does it have to be 0 S?

Thanks!

Yes Chris, that is a replacement note.....All notes have the prefix '9', but 'S' designates it as a replacement note....The replacement notes do not seem to be any scarcer than any other notes however.....It is a commemorative note but was printed in quite large numbers, and often has an accompanying folder with it.

Thailand has produced lots and lots of commemorative coinage over the years which you can sometimes find in circulation, that is the 10 baht bi-metallic ones. There is a small tourist shop attached to the Thai Royal Mint in Bangkok but it doesn't offer too many coins for sale. There's also one by the Ministry of Finance (but it's always been closed when I pop round).
