Thailand Replacement Note? - Coin Community Forum

zeewool Pillar of the Community 3660 Posts	Posted 11/18/2010 07:25 am Yes Chris, that is a replacement note.....All notes have the prefix '9', but 'S' designates it as a replacement note....The replacement notes do not seem to be any scarcer than any other notes however.....It is a commemorative note but was printed in quite large numbers, and often has an accompanying folder with it. thai-vic Pillar of the Community Thailand 1509 Posts	Posted 12/13/2010 12:29 am Thailand has produced lots and lots of commemorative coinage over the years which you can sometimes find in circulation, that is the 10 baht bi-metallic ones. There is a small tourist shop attached to the Thai Royal Mint in Bangkok but it doesn't offer too many coins for sale. There's also one by the Ministry of Finance (but it's always been closed when I pop round). Report this Post to the Staff
