Last week we flew to FL for a few days. Ran three blocks to the farmers market before they closed. Got a bag full of fruit, handed her a ten and got a few bucks change and went home. A few hours later, I pulled out change to throw on the dresser and noticed my three pennies looked odd. Closer look and there was a 1955-D. Looked closer and I has a quarter, a dime, and three 1955-D wheaties. Sadly, by that time the marketeers were packed up and gone. I'm betting she cracked a whole roll of them in her change drawer. Wish I could have caught her before she left! Clorox
My family catches me looking through change all the time. They laugh at me cause I chime out the years as I go, it's really just to bug my wife and make the kids laugh. Got a worn 1940 Jefferson yesterday and made it out to be a big deal. Kept referring to my big find, pretty funny.
