I'm looking to start the dansco 7070 album and was wondering if this was the album most of you use? or is there a different one? one that is most current or are they going to release pages for this album?

Yes. There is only one 7070, by Dansco. Other manufacturers (Whitman, Intercept Shield, Littleton, etc.) use a different model number.

The 7070 has changed over the years though. For example, when I bought mine in 1993, page five only had four openings (the three Bicentennial issues and Susan B. Anthony dollar). The latest version has the eight holes you see (adding the Statehood Quarter, Sacagawea dollar, Commemorative Dollar, and Silver Eagle holes).

Like the others say .. that is the one.

jakes has it for a couple dollars less.

Most times tradewinds is even cheaper, but I could not find it on
their site.

I am not saying any of these site are better than the other.
Also I did not check out the shipping.

I do use Jakes for buying my dansco albums.

I think a lof of collectors "have" the 7070, but I also think that very few actually have it "completed". (and I would be included in the latter).

This one sits alone, for me, with no attention paid to it at all.... (I think I'm 30%-50% completed)
I just have so many others "in progress" that it just stays on the backburner for me.
And I suppose that "money" is indeed a factor for me with the 7070 as well.

Count me in there as well. I have had the album over 17 years, but still have 18 holes to fill. I did make a purchase for it recently though.

I got my first 7070 in the late 1970s, right after they added the bicentennial page. Updated with a new one last year and have 6 holes to fill.
