I was wondering what you consider a collectible SN? Does it have to start with a BD# 1999xxxx or end with a BD# xxxx1999 or what if it's in the middle of the SN? xx1999xx. What if it has a month day and year 01011999 .And what about anniversary SN 20002025? Which ones are worth more to a collector? Thanks for your input,

People will say (and have to me more than once) that the proper format is Mo-Da-Year. But to a programmer Year-Mo-Da is just as acceptable.

It's tough to sell chcu b'day notes. I have bunch of chcu $2 b'day's which did not sell and some $1's as well. Most of what I sold was through word of mouth.

I have saved quite a few chcu notes and if anyone shows up on the various BST forums then I will be able to sell one at a time.

One batch I did sell to a dealer on consignment rather cheaply. This is an experiment to see if the notes I sold him are resalable.

IF someone (buyer) goes looking for a specific date they are going to pay around $15 to $25 per note.

Anniversary notes go for $8 to $12 per chcu notes. Here again there has to be someone wanting that specific year.

I have one birth year note. I got it for my 1986 world coin and bank note set.

Johnny1328, That is a nice note . Notes that start with four zeros are collectible just for that.

I would love to find my birth year on any note, I know If I ever did I would spend $10-$15 more dollars than anyone else would on that particular note. Haha

It's 01311991 I know the chances of me finding one are slim but that's what makes it fun.
