I purchased five by subscription. One I have been buying via subscription for many years and 4 more to replace the uncirculated SAEs I usually buy but are not being minted this year. My CC has been charged for the single but not for the four coin order yet (the two are about 75000 order numbers apart). The fact that my CC was charged yesterday morning is supposed to mean that one coin shipped yesterday but PCGS has not been following the don't charge until ship promise since they started doing fulfillment. Hopefully the single will ship Monday and the four coins on Tuesday or Wednesday. The four coins are on fast ship so they may beat the single here. The cost isn't so bad considering the price of silver. Back in 2000 - 2003 they were $24 with silver at $6. In 2004, the price went to $28 with silver at $8. This year, with silver at $27, the $46 price tag is the lowest relative to silver spot it has been since I started buying direct from the website (in July 2000 with an order number under 5,000,000).

I went ahead and ordered 10 yesterday in the frenzy. I think I get up in the hoopla sometimes because a week ago I wasn't going to buy any!
Rumor has it the original allotment of 600,000 pieces sold out in 12 hours. The mint is still taking ordering though and can make plenty more in the next 6 weeks to meet demand.

So what your implying Brad, is that they are ignoring the subscriptions again? I called and one operator assured me that my subscrtiption would be honored. Man, they don't know how to tell the truth there do they. Now I gonna have to take another blood pressere pill.

It took me 20 minutes to get mine by ordering online. I had my mind made up that I was going to get 5, then when ordering I got 15. I honestly think this coin will be a hit. If not, I will hold on to them. Worse case scenerio is that you get back out what you put in it.

I've got a subscription for 2 of them. I was thinking about getting 3 more, but haven't decided yet.

I called and ordered some by phone just in case. I guess it's like betting on the "Lost Wages come line" in you know, the dice table. If both orders get filled, a bunch of people will ge ASEs for Christmas whether they want them or not.

They do not ignore subscriptions, but contrary to popular belief, having a subscription does not mean that you will be first in line for delivery.

Actually, for the past year or so, PBGS has been honoring the mint promise to serve subscriptions first by entering subscription orders into the order numbering system two days before each product is released for sale. This does mean that all subscription orders have lower order numbers than all other orders and in general will be fulfilled and shipped first. In general does not mean in all cases because PBGS does not strictly follow FIFO when processing orders, even when all items in an order are in stock. Orders are doled out to individuals to fulfill and each person is supposed to fill in numerical order but naturally some shuffling of order numbers will take place. Also, they may fill orders on a product based schedule at times and get out of sync that way. All that said, having a subscription does mean that you will be first in line for fulfillment with all the other subscribers, ahead of internet and phone orders. It does not guarantee first shipment or delivery. It also appears that the subscriptions are entered into the order numbering system in the order that the original subscriptions were created, meaning that a subscription that was placed five years ago will have a much lower order number than one placed this year.
