I'm pretty sure all were .800 in the dollar, is this correct.
Reason also asking if selling junk silver its approx 13-14 to sell pre 1966 scrap silver...and maybe? 10 to sell 1967.. would a dealer pay for .800 amount or trick people into the 1967 prices.. since .800 is same in 1967 dollar? thanks

Thanks, would have to double check, the way dealers advertise could easily lend itself to fraud by unsuspecting people unloading their silver coins.

Their ads to buy never show they pay the same for the 1967 dollar, sure they do, but never know.. j

how many do you want to sell?
everyone knows 1967 are .800.
HOWEVER... the number you are selling is important.....
There is a common idea, that if silver is $25 an ounce...dealers will pay that... not SO...
THERE ARE A LOT OF EXPENSES to get to that price..............., melting, assay costs. commissions sometimes 2 ways...
recently a lady wanted me to buy 246 silver dollars... she had it all down to the dot.... silver value only......
wanted spot price, as "2 other dealers offered her better than spot"....
well... , I said, I am not a dealer, I advise you to sell it to them...
she was not a happy camper... came back next day after silver dropped and said she would take spot less 10%.......NO way....Not his guy..

The .800 is 80% silver content the US dollars are .900 or 90% .773ozpure silver.app 23 grams vs 18.7 for Canadian dollars. I divide the silver value into price per gram and multiply by the grams in the coin and hope for that less 10% rough math
