I know this is self-indulgent but I was wondering what is on every body's Christmas wish list. Top of my list is a 1931s lincoln, the last of the affordable wheats I need (forget about 1909s vdb, not going to happen) ebay gift cards and the annual proof set in the stocking would be nice.

Whatever I can get. Even if it's just half a roll of wheat pennies.

A sniper coil and a new pin pointer would do me just fine. I would settle for either one if I can't get both.

Any one of the three nickles I need to finish my Liberty nickles. Or the one nickle I need to finish my buffalo set. You guys all know which they are but nobody in my family knows. What do you think of my chances?

I would love to find a BU 1797 cartwheel penny in my stocking! Not a roll, just one beautiful specimen! :)

Nothing. X-mas isn't about gifts.

Not sure what I'd want but every year for many, many years now I give one Proof set, one Mint set and a copy of the Ringed Version of the latest Red Book to people for presents. Been doing that for a long time now. Used to be about 15 of them but due to people moving away or passing away, has dropped to 10 each year.

I usually do not ask for anything coin related, but my Christmas wish is usually to have extra money left-over for the February coin show.

Quote: Tim, what a sniper coil and a pin pointer. Are you a marksman? Sniper coil: A small search coil used on metal detectors to search in tight spots. http://www.amazon.com/Sniper-Coil-4...p/B000K9KBWSPin Pointer: is a small handheld metal detector that is used when you go to dig a detector find you can't find it. Your search coil is too big to search the sides of the hole, so you don't know whether the target is on the side of the hole or is deeper. http://www.kellycodetectors.com/vib...andhelds.htm
