Have to say lower again. While rims and shield looks full there is substantial wear. Her right breast is almost worn away and her face has only slight definition. The right leg and robe has substanial wear. On the reverse, over one half the first row of feathers are visable and there are major wear spots on eagles breast, tail and the rim.

F15 to VF25, but again I'm no expert and I'll bet the coin looks better in hand.

I had graded it myself as a F15 but I'm glad to see the collective expertise thinks she's worthy of something higher. I picked it up for VG money so I'm happy in any case!

this one VF-20

I'd give it a F15 for the strike quality and eye appeal but the guide says
F12 Fine- High curve of right leg flat from thigh to ankle. Left leg shows only slight wear. Drapery lines over right thigh can be seen only at sides of leg.
and that's what it shows.
Rest in Peace

I'm really feeling a F 12 here. I have a different date that looks just like this. And research told me that it was a 12.

My first thought was F-15 obv, F-12 rev...net F15 since the obverse carries more weight. Nice!
