I was wondering what all errors have been found on all the new jeffersons since 2004, I also found some of my rolls and some of them are Mint rapped and WAS wondering If anyone has seen a price on those lately , and opionions on weather or not it is worth it to crack them open to see if there are eroors or not . I don't think its a good idea, but I always here the stories I should of cracked it open because it was full of errors

I guess if it was me, I wouldn't open the rolls. The reason being I have yet to see a single error, and therefore finding one in the rolls would be pretty unlikely.

I was going through mine, just last night, wondering if any errors have been found on anything, but the buffalo.I'm keeping them anyway.I probably wouldn't open them, unless maybe some errors appear elsewhere. :) sn31.

I would not open the Mint wrapped ones but if you have any uncirculated bank rolls it probably wouldn't hurt to to go through them.

Scott, open your rolls and look for errors. There are many many errors on these jeffersons. I personally have have thousands of errors from breaking open rolls. Most are very common errors that don't carry too much of a premium. But it sure can be fun. Good luck.

Errorcoins, have you found errors in the mint wrapped coins? Has a speared buffalo ever been found from a mint wrapped roll?

Yes I have found errors in the mint wrapped rolls. YOU WILL NOT find the Speared Bison in those rolls. The Speared came from Bank Rolls and they are all spoken for.

Good Luck.
