I've started checking each coin I receive in change with a magnifying glass. My wife thinks I've lost it. When I started metal detecting 2 years ago I did a lot of research on key dates and errors to look for on the older coins (wheats and pre '64) but just recently I've become interesting in collecting clad. My problem is I can't seem to find a comprehensive list of what to look for. It seems each time I find a list of what to pull from circulation it's different from the previous list I found. It's very confusing. I know about 98-00 cent
Wide AM, 2004 D Wisconsin w/extra leaf, 1982
no mint mark dime, 1995 DD Obverse cent, 1969 S DD cent, 1970 S small date DD and 1972
no mint mark DD. I've read where some pull 1983 P and 1986 D quarters out of circulation but I'm not sure why. So I'm hoping the more experienced collectors can point me in the direction. I would hate to let something get back into circulation I should have kept.
Thanks
