Hello,

How do I spot the difference between a 1935 dollar and a 1935 SWL dollar?

Look at the water lines on the right hand side of the reverse.

This is quite an old thread.

There are no reference pictures for the 1935 Specifically, but here is one from the 2012 Charlton Catalogue for 1950/1951 Dollars.

I think the water lines are the same as 1935. Basically, Short Water Lines (SWL) don't touch the canoe.

No problem.

I stand corrected, here is an image of the SWL 1935 dollar. I forgot my Charlton had all of the dollar varieties at the back of the book (Page 273, Charlton 2012).
