I found a coin I have lsited in teh So-called Dollars Book. Ir says it's an R-5 on the Fuhlmer(?) scale, meaning roughly only 76 - 200 were made. no value is given, though, for anything in the book. I know this is the same rarity guide sued for Civil War tokens. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on the value of something of that mintage in at least XF condition?

Value can't be stated simply based on a rarity. Demand for the particular item is very important. You can have an R-5 item and if there are only 50 people who want it, it's going to be cheap. The 1909 SVDB cent is a COMMON coin based on any rarity scale, but it is expensive because there are more people who want one than there are coins available.
