I'm looking for info on varieties. Can some one steer me in the right direction?

Liberty Seated Collectors Club is the closest I have seen. There is probably not much of a market for SL dollar varieties given the costs involved even collecting by date.

I also found a link for the Gobrecht Journal, go to the bottom of the page, "Major Varieties of Liberty Seated dollars".

I moved you post to the "Classic US coins" forum. Being in the main forum could explain the lack of comments.

Biokemists link to the LSCC website is good and the article is good as well. Too bad there are no images to go with the article
