Having a hard time through the plastic.

Those bumps kind of remind me of zincolns in one angle of the light and feeder finger gouges another way. I don't recall ever seeing feeder damage on the obverse. Is that because I just haven't seen enough coins?

The feeder damage I do know, always has the gouges flowing in the same direction, no matter where it occurred on the coin. The two bumps hugging the rim does not follow that logic.

Possibly. It's the directional aspect of them that I'm not sure about.

It may be something in the plastic holder, but it doesn't look like it from this angle. Perhaps just an imperfection with the copper nickel and silver that could cause some sort of lamination problem?
