"1949 20 centavos note"
#129 Printer: SBNC. VG 0.25; VF 1.00; Unc 4.50
#130 Printer: TDLR. VG 0.20; VF 0.50; Unc 1.50 or 2.00 (depending on the signature).

As for Ecuador "Since September 2000, the US Dollar became legal tender, and the sucre was redeemable until March 30.2001 at the rate of 25,000 Sucres per US Dollar."
They may still have some value to collectors, depending on their condition of course.

The Ecuadorian notes may well have value in CU, though it depends entirely on how old they are. Given the gradual collapse in value of the sucre between 1945 and 2000, earlier ones are scarcer (and therefore more valuable) than later ones.

Ecuadorian notes should all have dates of issue on them. What are the dates on yours?

Sadly, those are commoner dates. In my 2002 edition Pick:

- the 1979 5 sucres lists at $2 (P# 113c)
- the 1980 10 sucres lists at $3 (P# 114b)
- the 1980 20 sucres lists at $7.50 (P# 115b)
