Well it took a bunch of months but a great Aussie collector has finally put RABBIT EARS in Indiana. While I am rather partial to the Mob of Roos, especially the proofs, which I am still working on I found getting my paws on Rabbit Ears (all Aussies know what this is) was quite a challenge until you finally meet the right collector!!! I now have the 1984, 1994, 1998 and 2000 MOB with rabbit ears!!! Also received the 93 Landcare " Cud" between the 2nd and 3rd wave and a 2001 Possible 360 degree upset! Not to mention about 23 other various date circulated and unc. MOB's!!! My herd is getting bigger!!! And, they get along GREAT with Buffalos!!!

So it is 85 and 06 I need to finish off this set? Nothing worse than knowing you still NEED one and in this case TWO to have them all. Will have to keep my eyes and ears open on this one!

Crystalk64,
I have a couple of the 2006 tucked away for you. The only way for you to get an '85 from me is for me to bequeath one to you. Unfortunately for you, the Australian Bureau of Statistics has allowed me another 25 years of life, during which I intend to hoard my collection jealously from people such as Snooba

It's a little off the subject, but I think it necessary to expand a little on the possibility of a 360 degree 2001 upset. Australian dollars have broken reeding all around the outside of the coin. A knowledgeable member of the Aussie coin forum noted that the reeding on all the 2001 upsets starts between the T and the I of 'Federation'. Given that 2001 upsets occur at all degrees of the 'clock', he surmises that there is no reason for there not to be a 360 degree or 12 o'clock upset. When searching for upsets, I now also check the reeding. They are also as hard to find as the upsets themselves.

I'm not sure on the different types of upsets in US coinage, but its an interesting and possibly impossible to prove concept... a 360 degree upset.

Yass, remind me to thank you very much for calling the 2006 $1 the "spew-roo"!!!
I now have an eight-year-old who is getting in trouble at school for chanting "you are a spew-roo" to other children!!!

And it's about to get bigger still. Your coins arrived today. I've got to say, "I'm impressed" They are truly wonderful. Yass is considered to be the capital of merino sheep and quality wool production. I wonder what the sheep will make of the Buffalos?

I mentioned earlier that I had found some 2006 rabbits. Well, they're in plague proportions, but I seem to be the only one finding them in numbers. I have popped a large rabbit and a small rabbit (the spew roo) into the mail. They are accompanied by three variety 2006 MoR. I'll bet my bottom dollar there are no "goatee roos' in Indiana. Well, let's make it a real zoo. You'll soon have rabbits and goats to keep your buffalos company.
