Beautiful coin SC! XF40+,possibly 45.
CDN bid somewhere in the $300-400 range?
Not near my backpack at the moment.
That is a nice coin, looks original.
After a second look, I'm staying with XF45+

It looks VF+ or EF to me. I'd say EF40 would be fair but could see it at VF35 too. My guess on value would be $250 to $300.

I would say EF-45 cleaned; color is not right for an 1804 in that grade

I do not believe it is cleaned, but it may have been gently recolored in my opinion.

Definitely not harshly cleaned may have been soaked in Vinegar or something... not sure what process people use to turn those old tarnished coppers orange.

I was also thinking this nice piece had at least an old cleaning of some sort and is starting to retone.
Very nice pickup shadow (you have a nack)

My guess is VF- around $250. That's the crosslet 4, with stems, variety I think.

Crosslet 4 with stems, very nice, I don't have a clue how to grade higher grade early coppers.

EF40 Extremely Fine- Light wear on highest parts of head and wreath.

Based on slabbed coins, this is a weakly struck EF-45 to AU-50 coin in my opinion. The ribbon has very little wear, and this is one of the ways to tell. I'm hoping for a problem free XF-45 or lightly cleaned/recolored AU-

Oh, me likey.

How faithful to reality is the background color in your pics? It would inform the actual color of the coin, in case it's off a little. Any alteration to that coin was done a long time ago.
