I do not have any info sorry, but I believe they printed them from 1930's to 1940's Most around 1946, and I do believe the date is on them at least I have seen others posted with different Years beside them. I don't think they are rare , but do believe they are reasonably desirable to own. what ever you find out I would love to hear some info. I think GXseries is a knowledgeable person on these. F=2.50 P51- (ND=1943-44) black on brown and light blue, back blue, series and serial numbers, in black. F=$2-3, depending on watermark variety P56- (ND=1944-1945)black on brown and light blue, back blue, series number only, in red. F=$4, 5.50, 7 depending on the watermark variety. P79a- (ND=1946) like P40, with an adhesive stamp attached, F=8.75 P79b- (ND=1946) like P51, with an adhesive stamp attached, F=6.50 P79c- (ND=1946) like P56, with an adhesive stamp attached, F=15.00 Yours is the P40 issue of 1930-1943 Report this Post to the Staff
