On Tuesday the 14th, inspired by Moe145's wonderful efforts, I will begin the "28 Days of Morgans" thread. The date is calculated so that 1895 falls on New Years' Eve, when we'll all be someplace else anyways.  The rules will be loose; please don't post later dates but posting your coin late will be welcomed. Fair warning: On January 10th, I will bury you. |

One hundred and forty....that figure could warrant its own thread...."Dave's 1921 monster thread" (has an almost an excessive/compulsive ring to it)..  ...but taking into consideration three mints and countless die varieties, I guess that 140 might only be a drop in the bucket of possibilities.....I am really looking forward to that day though, I will cancel all appointments and dates, only order delivery food, lock the doors and gates, no unnecessary distractions. |

You guys just feed each other don't you? It's probably just me, but what are we supposed to do what, and with which, and to where? Oh, might as well throw in a when. (All the "Ws".)

Members are requested to post their own pictures of that year's Morgans. We go to 1879 on Wednesday and so on, one mintage year for each day until January 10th, the last day of the thread, when we post 1921. Moe145 has already done this twice, with great success, for other issues. |

The date is calculated because 1895 is going to be a pretty slim year, and that year will fall on New Year's Eve when there will likely be little traffic here. |
