2010 P Roosevelt Dime-Die Breaks - Coin Community Forum

jmkendall Pillar of the Community United States 1590 Posts	Posted 12/13/2010 03:16 am On this one it seems as though most of Roosevelt's head has die breaks. There are some in his hair; his eyebrow, and on the folds of skin around the mouth and chin. How common are these? Everytime I touch the botton on my camera it focuses to a nice sharp image....and then unfocuses. I do use the macro function. But it does not seem to make any difference. Die breaks are a little less common but unless it's a major one it also adds no value.About your camera,try using a tripod and the self timer. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

Die cracks and small breaks or chips don't add anything to the coin so far as an error designation goes. No premium value. Report this Post to the Staff
