Okay guys, this brings me up to date on my Morgans - sorry for any confusion I may have caused to any members by posting all these reverse scans. I'll be normal from now on. :) 1883R 1883CCR 1883OR 1883SR

Bryan - I kind of thought it might be redundant to post them again after posting them each appropriate day of the thread.I explained in an earlier post that my albums were in the box at the bank, and I wouldn't be able to post the reverse scans till I was able to get the coins from the bank - three Purple Hearts in Vietnam (USMC) - I'm a mite disabled - I don't drive a vehicle, and am pretty much at the mercy of someone else's schedule to get around. Hope that kind of satisfies your curiousity - Rest assured, I will be posting scans of both the obverse and reverse together (now that I've got them here) from tomorrow on - until the thread expires.

Ralph, Ok I definitely understand the disabled thing because I am also. There are times I can't move (its worse right now because of the cold and rain does it as well) I was just wondering why there were no Obverse pictures. Allot of mine are in the SDB also and even though I guess I should have gotten them all out, I just got the 1878's out the other day. I may get a few more when I go back to put the 78's back in there but I have pictures of the better ones on my computer already. I am definitely not going to make a special trip to carry all of them things home because there are quite a few of them in my collection and don't feel all that safe with all of them sitting here at the house, especially this time of year

Bryan, I did post scans of the obverse with an explanation early on, and assumed that anyone following the thread would have read that, and understood my "catching up" with the reverse scans now. Anyway, I've had all weekend to scan the Morgan reverses and save them in my computer, so I'll be able to post scans of both sides, and the coins will go back to the bank box tomorrow. Even though my entire collection isn't a really large one (only a couple thousand coins in all - most very well circulated) and it's not a high dollar collection, it's still more than I care to have laying around the house, thus....the box at the bank - sleep better at night.

Jaobler, do you know what it was that caused PCGS to the altered surfaces thing on your coin? Is it actually DMPL?

I thought mabey it may have been cleaned some hopw as so many coins have been since the early days...but his designation is altered, perhaps someone can give us an explination of what that may entail...
