My question is...what's going to happen to the values of any collectible pennies if the senators get their way and take the pennies out of circulation. Maybe I should get rid of all my magnetic 2006 pennies soon.

I suspect the price on those will increase. As our pennies are removed from circulation, very few Mag 2006 1 cents will be found. In essence it will decrease the number in circulation and most likely increase their value to collectors.

I'd be interested in buying a 2006 magnetic if you have an extra at a reasonable price. I gave up looking.
