Hi all I'm new here I realy did not get into coins till this year when I got a metal detector but then I kinda got hooked Well I was hunting at a sight and found this dime it's a 1875 cc below the bow and after doing some research I found out that it has what they call a Cud on the front and on the rear . I did find a guy online that looked at the pics and made an offer but said it was not worth sending out to have graded . What do you guys think hope the pics are good enough for you to get an idea .Oh I know that cleaning coins is a no no all that was done here was a rinse under water to get the dirt off after all it came from 7in in the ground . I would add pics but I cant get them to load what am I doing wrong .

There is one Cud listed in my book on the 1875CC dime, and it is between 9 and 10 o'clock on the reverse. So, you could have an undocumented Cud, which doesn't mean its worth much because not many people are interested in them. It's probably not worth getting graded unless it would get uncirc details or otherwise be problem free (which seems unlikely since it's dug).

Great find, I'd love to see pictures. You can host them externally and then post a link to them if you can't figure out how to post them internally on the site.
