Bought a 1889 at my club meeting tonight and know basically nothing about VAM;s. Spent some time at vamworld; is this a VAM 7? The 9 looks high and the bottom of the loop in the 9 looks doubled. Also, notice what I think is a clash under the chin and the die crack below the neck through the date. Any ideas or help will be appreciated.

I would like to see the whole OBV and REV pictures as well please.
the marks under the chin/neck are clashing which can lead to a VAM ID

There is more evidence of clashing under her nose as well.

check out VAM 38, it bit of a wild guess cracks in the date look like they MIGHT match

1889-Morgan-Help-Updated-Picsmatch but your lighting is not sufficient to see them, try tilting your scope to capture them better...but the date placement is crucial to figuring it out need a photo like this

1889-Morgan-Help-Updated-Picsvam 7 has a die chip on the second 8, so its not VAM.7...
