I received this coin from a relative and wanted to see what it's worth. However, the markings are almost unidentifiable. If anyone knows what kind of this coin is I would really appreciate your help! thanks!

no its very hard to make out but it looks like it says something along the lines of "solos". The face looks similar to the Louis XVI 1791 coin but facing the other direction.

My first instinct when I saw it was "Conder token", but I'm not familiar enough with the series to be able to find a specific example.

I agree with jgillette. The reverse could be the 1791, but the obverse looks more like a louis XIV Demi or 1/2 ecu determined by the bow in his hair.
