Bryan...maybe the person will post feedback and then someone can email the person and find out what was in the roll and get some pics.

I wonder if this guy is some sort of coin dealer? Maybe just a dealer on ebay? But the truth comes out...

You can bet too that the edge coin is not going to be some gleaming MS-65 gold piece. Rather, on close inspection, I bet they are VF to XF coins with impairments such as cleaning that reduce the value to melt.

Another of the feedback items:

"Fast shipping. Average Circulated/About Good Indians only. Nothing great!"

This stuff is entertaining but certainly not limited to ebay...just take a look at commercials or politicians or even the news.As long as there are greedy or stupid buyers, there will be people providing what they want.

Who shotgun rolls IHC's with gold coinage on the roll ends? Snake oil salesmen that's who.

Another fraud on ebay. He opened up the end of the roll, put a more than likely AU or so Quarter Eagle on the end, folded it closed, and just doubled his money. The sellers have found that ebay is the perfect marketplace to sell such items.
Don't get me wrong, I'm watching two coins on ebay right now. You have to take precautions on the flea.

I don't think children are bidding, so how do grown adults fall for this? In what dream world do actual bank rolls w/gold pieces go unopened?
