How much is the damage on the reverse going to affect the price on this one?

I don't think the damage is too serious. A TPG would note it; i.e. "G-6 details damaged" but it won't impact the price that much. I think you have a $120-$140 coin there at auction.

I agree with fenton - Good Details - Damaged. My guess is $150.

It's a really nice looking coin. The damage isn't that bad really. G-6 details

Exactly...If you guys have 1914D cents that have wear just like this one that you're calling "good" - I'll get my checkbook out...you can send them ALL to me.

This coin is VG, and just like eddiespin said, the price should be netted back for the damage. Numismedia has $165 for good, $198 for VG. I would be a seller on that coin at $175.
