I picked this up off ebay.

What do you think it grades?

Also, I think it may be the S over Horizontal S variety, which wasn't noted by the seller. What do you think?

Here's a link to coppercoins.com for the variety:

Sure looks like it could be the S over Horizontal S variety. I'd grade it VF20 with nice color and good eye appeal. I hope the lines running from 1:00 to 7:00 on in the grain and not on it and I'd try to get that touch of verdigris off the base of the bust.

You might have a winner there, let Chuck see it.

VF-25, very attractive coin! Get that in a slab!

I didn't even see that little spot of verdigris until I photographed it. I'll have to nuke it with Verdi-Care!

I'm not sure that's verdigris. By the looks of it, if it is, VC probably won't help. I'd probably leave this coin alone, it looks great!

Verdi-Care took care of that little bit of verdigris.

Here's some updated pics.

VF-20. You can really see the RPM in the second set of pics. Cool!

Definitely VF20 and definitely the S/horiz.S

Only problem is that this RPM is very common. Bummer.
