I must have been very very bad this year I guess Quote: Only one coin? Gosh, I'd be disappointed if I were you. Yeah but it sure was a doozy! It took me for a very memorable ride where it was all I could do to hang on as it took me where it wanted to go as I was just the passenger

I always ask my wife for money at Christmas to go to the summer seminar. She gave it to me in a box of cents, a box of nickels, 2 rolls of halves, 202 $2 bills and 3 $1 star notes she pulled out of circulation. Now the fun begins!

Well all is said and done and I ended up getting everything I asked for. I did not ask for a coin, but rather some Dansco's. I got both Morgan dollar's, Buffalo nickel and Indian penny Ddansco's. I'm thrilled :)

I did pretty good this year. I received a 1923 P Peace dollar, a 1952 Carver/Booker T Half (My First pre 1982 Commemorative, 1897 P Barber quarter, and two P Nickels 1908 and 1899. Considering I usually don't get any coins for Christmas, I guess I did pretty well.

I didn't get anything, but my daughter got an 2010 Abe Lincoln dollar and a commemorative set with 5 1943-P steel pennies. I bought myself a couple of supposably unsearched rolls of pennies. First roll I did good. I got 10 Indian Heads and 8 Wheat pennies from the 20ies and 30ies and then the rest were Wheat pennies from the 40ies and 50ies. The second roll was not as good. I got a couple of IH and 3 teens about a dozen 20ies and 30ies 3 Steel pinnies (1 steel was real nice it replaced the one I had in my book) and the rest were 40ies and 50ies. I was able to fill in some of the holes I hand in my books so it wasn't a loss or anything like that. I think I was more excited at the mystery of what I would find in the rolls more than anything. It is fun, but it is something that I will not keep doing.

I think everyone buys one of those rolls from time to time :) I try to find one that has a nice coin on the end. Of course you only get to see one side, but still :)
