Aaa New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 01/02/2011 11:09 am I'm sorry! In this condition it can be $20-ish. Ancient coin prices can vary, depending on where its being sold. I wrote "Pontius Pilate, year 29 CE (GBC 648 - TJC 331)" The ruler is Pontius Pilate, from the year 29 CE. GBC is "Guide to Biblical coins" by David Hendin In editions 3-4, this coin is #648. Since this summer edition 5 came out, these numbers are now obsolete, and your coin is now GBC #1341, sorry for giving you the old numbers. TJC is "Treasury of Jewish Coins", by the late Ya'akov Meshorer, and the coins number is 331. -Aaa Report this Post to the Staff
