Hey there!

Is this a coin? There seems to be some sort of Cross on one side, however the back is quite empty.. Help needed!

The reverse pattern is interesting. What do you think the coin is made from?
Is it possibly lead? I wonder this because lead seals were once common and may explain the appearance of being pressed into rough fabric.

I actually have no idea what it's made of.. It's hard to tell..

Your idea seems very plausible at least :)

It was a guess of mine...the color reminds me of lead seals take when buried.
If lead, it should feel heavy as lead is slightly denser than silver. A lead seal would also be soft.

Yep, a lead seal would be my guess. I would assume the "cross" shape is a result of the seal being broken and the underlying string being torn out, and not part of the intended design of the seal. Remnants of the undisturbed pattern the seal once held can be seen in the "cross" - it looks like a lion's tail in one part. Here's an English one on UKDFD.

It's not ancient, so I'm moving it to exonumia.
